CCTV
Over the years CCTV cameras and their recorders have improved greatly with quality and cost. ASDC have always progressed with the new technology to the market, as well as making sure the new solutions are rigorously tested by our technical team before installing them on a clients site.
360 Thermal radar
Day or night, clear skies or dense fog, all targets are detected from multiple kilometres away in the air, land or sea. From people to vehicles, drones to aircrafts, the 360 thermal radar can identify and track these targets. Depending on the solution required this can then control cameras and non-lethal deterrents.

ANPR
ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) technology can be used in multiple scenarios, including the detection and prevention of crime, access control measures and traffic management. The NASP (National ANPR Standard for Policing) state that “ANPR systems must capture 98% of all VRM (Vehicle Registration Mark) that are visible to the human eye and accurately read 95% of captured VRM’s”. in a recent project we captured 100% of all VRM’s and accurately read all of them
Command and Control rooms
ASDC can work with design teams to design not only a control room which is in keeping with the design and look of the area but is also functional and gives the security team all the tools they need, from the security measures provided by ASDC, while following the HSE DSE requirements.
Covert – Audio and Video
Covert solutions are a means of offering surveillance in an undetected or more discreet manner. These miniature cameras have been developed to provide audio (and video) monitoring tools that are disguised in the form of everyday objects. In a multitude of settings, covert cameras can offer a more inconspicuous surveillance system that does not disrupt the aesthetic features of the area, as they can be placed virtually anywhere, whilst remaining discreet.
Drone – Protection and Defence
The growing problem of UAVs in recent years has led to our clients wishing to protect themselves from the lack of privacy and serious security threat that is posed by drones. Even just being able to detect them gives our clients time to react.
Intruder Alarms
Linking intruder alarms into the security system is nothing new, but for a client being able to view their intruder and CCTV system on their phone when it is activated out of hours or while they are away from the premises, gives our clients piece of mind
Perimeter protection
Using a multitude of different technologies depending on our clients’ requirements ASDC have deigned perimeter protection solutions that have provided a first line defence to intruders. From visible to buried solutions, even just the presence of a perimeter protection system can deter some criminals.
Rapid deployment
When the need for a CCTV surveillance solution is immediate, we supply rapid deployment systems, a flexible, temporary CCTV service to clients. Sometimes mobile towers are particularly useful on a development / building sites, as they can be moved to ensure key areas are always covered. We have found this system also works well against fly tipping and anti-social behaviour.
Access Control
Managing an access control database, to linking the cameras from around your premises to the doors, to alerting denied entries or forced entries can feel like a massive task to some clients. For one of our clients we manage their database, as well as linking their new access control system into their existing security system to notify them of unauthorised access.
